    I think it is the ghost cadet because grandma lives in front of a grave yard.

    I think it was Ghost Cadet because the singing came from the cemetery near Miss Leota's house.

    i think that the ghost cadet was singing and i also think that the ghost was shaking the tree at the beginning of the story. this is once again number 34:D

    I think it was the ghost cadet trying to signal him,or the voice of the dead coming to life at night since they live near a cemetary.

    You all seemed to have about the same prediction. Good work using what you read to come up with a valid prediction!! I have a feeling that in the next couple chapters, we will find out everything about the singing and the shaking tree!!
