Chapter 10: Family Portraits

At the very end of the chapter, Benjy realizes that Miss Leota is proud of him. What does she say that makes him realize this? Do you think she has always been proud? Why or why not?

    Yes,becuse of two things number1 is that she is proud of his father for naming him after his great great grandfather number2 is that ben like history just like Miss letoa #13

    She said" I'm glad that you like your ancestors

    I do think mrs.leota has always been proud of benjy even though she didn't know about him and because he likes his ancestors

    In the chaper a FAMILY PORTRAIT, benjy learned about his family and he found a picture of his dad and his grandma when his dad was about his age and I think that he felt realy suprised becuase he had never seen this picture and that his granma or anyone never told him about it. #9

    yes i have always thoght she was proud of hime because when her and fran got in that lilttle fight she said benjy was really responsible. they are always talking and she is proud tat ihe is wanting to learn about the civil war number 6

    when she said 'i am glad that you like your ancestors benjamin,and i believe that they'd be proud of you also' yes i think that she was because she said that she couldn't be more pleased to have him there #34

    I think she was always been his proud of him because he always reads her books, which makes them both proud, sort of. #16
