Chapter 11: Hugh's Story

Wow! We learned a LOT more about Hugh in this chapter. Tell me what Benjy and Hugh have in common that have made them such good friends. Do you find that you are friends with other people who have similar interests and beliefs? Give an example if you want (please no full names!)

    I think that Hugh was very disapointed in himself, but he shouldn't. He should be very proud of himself just for being able to be in the war. My friend is kind of like that. He would get beaten up just for standing up for me. #16

    That they both had a father they thought didn't like them. Hugh felt like he had to live up to his fathers expectations,and Bengy feels like he has to live up to his friends expectations. number #4

    Thre actually both want to fine the watch!!!! Benjy will risk his life to be his friend Savannah we have alot of similarites {i think}

    In the chapter Hughs story Benjy and hugh agree that they are going to meet up on the night of the ghost battle and that Benjy is going to try to find the watch, while everybody else is battling for thier lives, oh wait, Their already dead! :)

    things that hugh and benjy have in common are they both trust each other
    Yes i do have similar intrest with other people for example me and this girl named tia get mad easily and we are best friends

    #9: I like that you remembered that they are already dead. I tend to forget that when I am reading this book and it makes it very hard to read in the next couple chapters!

    Both Hugh and Benjy never really bieleved in them selves. They always thought they had to play by the rule, and try to fit in whith everybody else.

    Well, they both don't have many friends. Benjy is the only friend Hugh can have since no one else can see him.
    My friends think differntly and that's ok. As long as we get along we can be friends #14
