Chapter 9: The Search

    to my point actually i do they are searching and searching and benjy is determiened to find the watch. i cant wait until monday to read chapter ten. i hope they find it but it is probably going to be sad at the end they are going to leave eachother. number6

    I think they will find the watch because benjy said that "he made a pormise that he wouldn't give up untill he helped hugh find the watch and get it to his family in VMI
    I think it will be found by the battle field

    where were they searching for and why were they searching at night did benji get to bed on time befor his grandmother see him or did she not see him come from the window or was she sleeping the hole time or was she in the office doing some thing or was she writeing a paper or doing something like cleaning the dishes or geting ready for bed or cleaning her room or folding clothing or something like that ?

    I think they will find it becuase they are looking very hard and I think it will in a creek between the rocks underground because that was a long time ago and it is were it was oringanaly put it the last time he had it.number 5

    some how i think they will find the watch in the battle field. Benjy was just about to give up when hugh said somting to him. after that benjy said to hugh that he wasnt going to stop untill they found hughs grand fathers watch it is very important to his family tradition.and now he thinks that he let his family down so now he needs some body to help him look for 20the watch becuase benjy is the only one that can see him. his dad is probaly mad at him becuase he lost the watch.but he is only sixten when he died he was mad becuase he didnt get a chance to even kill a yanke he just went into the war not even five seconds and was killed no wonder he is so mad he didnt even fight he just went in threre was shot hid his watch and died. 20

    They found the watch in a crack in the foundation that was dug up and found by Benjy.
